The world is a kind and mysterious place.
Once in a blue moon I get diverted to Chattanooga from Atlanta trying to get home from
Paris in time for my 21st birthday in New Orleans!
New Orleans, soaked by the slow morphing clouds of Hurricane Isaac
refused my presence by canceling a certain flight into it's moist
nether-regions. It was in this way that I came to
see the beautiful Green world of Laurel Kidd and Alex Forville.
The moon had risen full for the second time in August
and greeted our days with burritos and swimming holes.
There are four living generations of Kidds in Chattanooga right now,
which I find better than Frank's triple breaded fried chicken.
Here are some gems from the geographical soup bowl of friendship
between Signal and Look-Out Mountains.
(Diamond Brand Tag in Irish Pub Basement)
Laurel, Alex and their roomate Maddy (the vixen with Moose the cat) are upholding
the values of Diamond Brand with a mountain themed authenticity.
We luxuriated in pretty fabrics and high quality margaritas under the spell
of half Ghetto Victorian Ambiance available in the Highland Park neighborhood.
There were coolers and records and fresh coffee and a plastic cutting board melting
on the stovetop.
They are my family and I just love them.
